Women With Abundant Life, 1534 Washington St. E., will host "My Sisters Closet," which is a boutique selling clothes, handbags, jewelry and other accessories at extremely low prices. Eighth Annual Upper Kanawha Valley Revival will be held at 7 pm. nightly, Monday through Aug. 14 at the Lisa Curry Community Center in Chesapeake. There will be different speakers and singers each night. Fun Day will be observed on Aug. 14 with hot dogs and a gospel sing at 6:30 p.m., featuring The Praisemen and the Brown Singers. Vacation Bible school
The Father's House Missionary Baptist Church, 500 29th St., will provide vacation Bible school for the community beginning on Monday and continuing through Friday. Calvary Baptist Church will have vacation Bible school Aug. 9-13 at the church, Lee Street W. and Maryland Avenue. Pre-School children through the fifth grade are invited to the free week of rocking adventure, "Backstage with the Bible," having fun performing with the stars. They will participate in exciting Bible-learning activities, crafts, music, games, surprises and treats. Each day begins with supper at 5 p.m. and ends at 8 p.m. (7:30 p.m. for pre-school).
