SUTTON, W.Va. -- Four people have been arrested in Braxton County after allegedly snorting pills in a house where two children were present.
West Virginia State Police Sgt. A.J. Shingler and Trooper First Class D.W. Burge responded to a disturbance on Herold Road in Sutton on Tuesday. The four occupants of the residence snorted crushed hydrocodone tablets while there were two children in the house, the State Police said.
Pauline Shaw, 33; Charles Dover, 32; Richard McCoy, 40; and Kathleen Nunes, 42, face charges of possession of hydrocodone and child neglect with the risk of injury, according to the State Police.
Each was being held Wednesday in the Central Regional Jail at Flatwoods.
