CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Frontier Communications has signed an agreement to provide telephone service to 81 Tudor's Biscuit World and Gino's Pizza & Spaghetti House restaurants, Frontier announced Tuesday.

Both restaurants are operated by Better Foods Inc. of Nitro.

"Better Foods was seeking a partnership opportunity with a telecommunications provider that could offer a reliable, dependable network," said Ray Burke, general manager of Best Foods. "Better Foods is in business to serve our customers, and we need the peace of mind to know that when our customers call in an order, there won't be a major outage that forces them to make a different choice in restaurant providers...."

Frontier purchased Verizon's landlines in West Virginia on July 1. Frontier plans to expand its business customer base.

"Our sales team understands Better Foods' needs and the role its restaurants and employees play in communities across the state," said Dana Waldo, general manager of Frontier's West Virginia operations. "We appreciate the entrepreneurial spirit that led to the creation and growth of an enterprise that enjoys a great reputation across the state."
