State Police charge men with armed robbery

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- West Virginia State Police have charged three Huntington men with armed robbery.

Joshua Kevin Deel, 24, was arrested Monday for allegedly robbing Java Joe's, 3914 Third Ave., Huntington, at knifepoint Thursday. According to a news release from the State Police, Deel held a knife to the throat of the cashier on duty while robbing the shop.

Two other men, James D. Perry, 25, and David Deel, 28, both also of Huntington, were arrested for being present inside the store and pretending to be customers at the time of the robbery, the release states.

Investigators anticipate at least one more arrest in the case, the release said.
