GRANTSVILLE, W.Va. -- A Calhoun County man is facing murder charges after he allegedly shot and killed another man during a fight.
At 6:40 p.m. Wednesday, John Cyrus, 45, of Chloe, allegedly approached a vehicle where Thomas Husk, 45, of Big Bend, was sitting on Trippett Road in Calhoun County. Cyrus began striking Husk with his fists while Husk was still seated inside the vehicle, according to State Police.
Husk then allegedly shot Cyrus three times with a 9mm pistol, according to State Police.
Husk faces second-degree murder charges. He was being held Thursday in Central Regional Jail on a $300,000 bond.
