SURVEYOR, W.Va. -- Police say no foul play is suspected in the death of a man whose body was recovered from a Raleigh County lake.

The Register-Herald reports that dive teams found the body of 28-year-old Nicholas Scott Abbott near the dam at Lake Stephens at about 2:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Abbott had been missing since Monday afternoon. The Raleigh County Sheriff's Department says the Kopperston man is believed to have gone into the lake to swim.

The body was sent to the state Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.
