WVU-Parkersburg proposes Ohio tuition cuts
Advertiser

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. -- Some students at West Virginia University at Parkersburg who live in seven Ohio counties would pay lower tuition under a proposed policy.

The policy would apply to students living in Athens, Guernsey, Meigs, Monroe, Morgan, Noble and Washington counties in Ohio who are enrolled in certain degree programs. The programs include business administration, Regents bachelor of arts, and several associate degree programs.

The Parkersburg News and Sentinel reports that the WVU-Parkersburg Board of Governors approved the policy Wednesday. The policy also must be approved by the West Virginia Council for Community and Technical College Education.

Another policy approved Wednesday would reduce graduation application fees.
