Police arrest two in St. Albans store robbery

By Staff reports

ST. ALBANS, W.Va. -- Police say a Dunbar man robbed a St. Albans convenience store last week while his friend acted as the getaway driver.

Robert Blair Rader III, 22, told St. Albans Police that he walked into the One Stop convenience store at Fifth Street and U.S. 60 on Jan 2 and demanded money, according to a news release.

Zachary Lee Fisher, 23, of Charleston, allegedly told police he drove the car that Rader jumped into before driving off.

Police charged Rader and Fisher with first-degree robbery. Both men turned themselves in Tuesday morning after warrants were issued for their arrest.

Both men are being held in South Central Regional Jail in lieu of a $100,000 bail.
