CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A power outage was reported at the Charleston Town Center Mall Thursday evening, a Metro 911 dispatcher said, but the mall remained open.

A mall security officer said at 6:45 p.m. that the mall would remain open despite some power issues.

About 15 minutes later, an employee at Sears said the department store remained open, but she wasn't sure about all the other stores in the mall.
