The Bakery in Lewisburg and its manager, Jennifer Gammon, catered many meals for the cast and crew. Many of the meals were served in the middle of the night, due to shooting requirements.

Employees of The Bakery in Lewisburg catered meals for the cast and crew of "Child of God" for about two weeks. The movie was partially filmed in Greenbrier County.

The production crew also had several meals at Bella Casa in Lewisburg.

The First Presbyterian Church in Ronceverte was converted to a county courthouse for a scene in the movie.
