The Seventh Annual Collis P. Huntington Model Train Show: will be held 5 to 8 p.m. today, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Dunbar Parks and Recreation Community Center. The show will feature many operating model railroad layouts including The Pocahontas Chapter NRHS Modelers Train Set and the new exhibit, "Riding the Rails Connecting West Virginia," along with some other collections of railroad memorabilia. There also will be hands-on Geo trax for children of all ages. The event also will have Thomas the Tank Engine merchandise and collectibles for sale and food items for sale. This event will feature more than 100 dealer tables. Admission is adults $4, children ages 3-12, $1. Directions: Take Exit 53 off Interstate 64 to 2601 Fairlawn Ave. in Dunbar. Preceptor Alpha chapter of Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority: will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at St. Paul United Methodist Church, Kanawha Turnpike, Spring Hill. President Diane Domaschko will conduct the business meeting. Service is Manna Meal containers, tabs for Ronald McDonald House and magazines for the veterans' clinic. Bring items for the animal shelter.

Capital High Band Boosters: will sponsor a Reverse Auto Raffle on April 14 at the school. A $100 donation includes Prime Rib Dinner and eligibility for raffle and other prizes. Grand Prize is a brand new 2011 Ford Ranger XLT Super Cab Truck, sponsored by Bert Wolfe Ford. The last ticket drawn wins the truck. You need not be present to win. The cost is $25 for each additional guest attending the dinner.
