A long-reach excavator rips apart the roof of the Rose City Press building Saturday.

This attachment on the end of the long-reach excavator's boom is reminiscent of a snapping turtle. Like a snapper, its powerful jaws clamped down on its prey and didn't let go, taking out chunks of the Rose City Press building in downtown Charleston.
