Osbra Eye Walks to be Saturday

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Kanawha State Forest Foundation presents the 2012 Osbra Eye Memorial Wildflower Walks from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Kanawha State Forest.

Registration will be held from 8:30 to 9 a.m. at the swimming pool area. The cost is $5 for adults and $2 for those under age 16. Several different walks, including wildflower identification, beginning and advanced birding and photography will be offered. Bring a camera and binoculars. Door prizes, raffle, hot dog sale and free drinks will be featured.

The walks are assisted by the Division of Natural Resources, Handlan Chapter Brooks Bird Club, Mary Ingles Trail Blazers and West Virginia Native Plant Society. For information, call 304-925-2771 or 304-558-3500.
