W.Va. higher education diversity conference set

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A one-day conference in Charleston this week will focus on diversity in higher education.

The conference hosted by the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission is set for Wednesday at the Charleston Marriott.

The conference will include panel discussions with representatives from the Southern Regional Education Board, The Education Alliance and colleges and universities across the state.

The keynote speaker will be John T. Wolfe Jr., associate vice chancellor for diversity and academic leadership development for the University System of Maryland.
