CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Police are looking for a second Charleston man in connection with a home invasion Sunday on the West Side hill.

Ibu Tareek Payton, 23, is wanted for first-degree robbery for his involvement in a home invasion at 827 1/2 Somerset Drive, said Charleston Police Sgt. Eric Hodges.

On Sunday, police arrested Dylan Lowe, 23, of Charleston, after he allegedly entered the residence to scout the home for a Payton, according to a criminal complaint signed by Charleston Police Detective J.C. Webb.

After determining where the victim's valuables were in the residence, Lowe sent a text message to Payton describing the location of a bag he believed contained valuables, according to the complaint.

Lowe left and returned a short while later with Payton. Inside the home, Payton and Lowe shoved the victim on a couch and pointed a black, semi-automatic handgun at him, according to the complaint.

Payton is 6 feet tall and weighs about 210 pounds. He is considered armed and dangerous, Hodges said. Anyone with information is asked to call the Criminal Investigations Division at 304-348-6480.

Lowe was charged with first-degree robbery and remained in South Central Regional Jail on Tuesday in lieu of a $50,000 bail.
