CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- YMCA Camp Horseshoe has announced its summer youth programs at the camp in Parsons.

Horseshoe camps are interactive, hands-on and fun, with a purpose. Youth are enabled to "unplug" from the daily distractions and re-focus on the essentials of leadership, teamwork and community.

Teen camps include the Teen Entrepreneurship Summit, June 10-16; a high school Leadership Summit on June 17-23, and a middle school Leadership Summit on June 24-30. Teens will learn how to lead "on P.U.R.P.O.S.E." and will return home with skills to improve their schools and community.

Camps for boys and girls ages 7-12 include Adventure Camp from July 1-7 and the Governor's Youth Opportunity Camps on July 8-14, July 15-21, and June 22-28. For more information about any of these programs, call Sharon at 304-478-2481 or e-mail horses...@hi-y.org.
