HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- Police have identified a driver who was killed when her car collided with a Cabell County school bus.

The Cabell County Sheriff's Office says 42-year-old Teresa McComas of Branchland was trying to return to her lane after her car crossed the center line when the collision occurred Monday on State Route 10.

McComas' 3-year-old daughter remains hospitalized at a Huntington hospital.

The school bus driver wasn't injured. No students were on the bus.

The investigation determined that McComas crossed the center line in the 5200 block of W. Va. 10 just before 8 a.m. She tried to return to her lane but collided with a Cabell County school bus that was traveling north toward Huntington.
