KANAWHA TRAIL CLUB HIKE: Hawks Nest Wildflower Hike. Meet at 1:30 p.m. to carpool from Ohio and Randolph streets. Regroup at Hawks Nest State Park Lodge. The hike is approximately 2 miles with group led by the park naturalist.

HALF MARATHON AND 5, KID RACES: Begins 7 a.m., University of Charleston, 2300 MacCorkle Ave. S.E. Kids' races begin at 9 a.m.
