All About Health,: the Boone Memorial Hospital community task force, will have an organizational meeting for this year's Pet Walk at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Park Avenue Restaurant in Madison. The group will partner with REV UP Madison and the new Humane Association in organizing the event. Anyone who would like to participate and help out is encouraged to attend.

FUTURE EVENTS

Shady Spring District Woman's Club: will feature acclaimed author, blues vocalist and humorist Rhayne Thomas as speaker at their meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday at 108 Hickory Court in Daniels. For more information about Rhayne Thomas, visit rhaynethomas.com.

The Town of Marmet's: next Saturday night dance will be held Saturday at the Marmet Recreation Center in Marmet. The band will be the Dave Runion Duo from Beckley. The West Virginia Institute for Spirituality: will host a "Time Out for Moms of Tots to Teens" from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 1601 Virginia St. E. All moms are invited to take time out to relax, relate with other moms and relieve the stresses associated with the demands of parenting. Lunch and child care for children ages 4-11 will be provided. Beni Kedem Shrine: announces that the Shrine Hospitals for Children's Golf Tournament originally scheduled for May 19 has been rescheduled for June 23.
