GLENWOOD, W.Va. -- A Mercer County retirement home is resuming normal operations following a norovirus outbreak.

WVVA-TV reports that a quarantine at GlenWood Park Retirement Village in Glenwood has been lifted. Normal operations will resume Wednesday morning.

The quarantine was imposed April 12. The outbreak sickened more than 20 residents and employees.

The Centers for Disease Control says norovirus is highly contagious and causes stomach pain, nausea, diarrhea and vomiting.
