City of Spencer: will have its Market Days on Saturday in downtown Spencer. A farmers market will be open beginning at 9 a.m. Sidewalk sales, specials, citywide yard sales, one-room school tours from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the Heritage Park Train Depot Museum tours from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. A flea market will be held all day on Bowman Street parking lot. Pinch Volunteer Fire Department: will sponsor a 2012 Spring Photo Fund Drive from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday at Pinch Fire Station. A complimentary 11x14 Family Portrait will be given to those who make a $20 donation. No appointment is necessary.

MountainHeart Care Resources will conduct a professional development session from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Fayette County Department of Health and Human Resources, Oak Hill. Rho Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority: will hold their annual spring banquet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Fifth Quarter. President Beverly Morris will give a synopsis of the past year with reports from the various committee chairpersons. Members and guests are welcome.

South Charleston Public Library: will host a webinar for nonprofits and individual grant seekers from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the library, 312 Fourth Ave., South Charleston. The webinar will offer an overview of the funding research process and tips on how best to identify funding sources for non-profit organizations, highlighting the electronic and print resources available on the Foundation Center website and at the South Charleston Public Library. West Virginia Branch of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation: will hold its annual Walk For a Cure on May 20. This year's walk theme is "Soaring For a Cure." Registration starts at noon and the walk is at 2 p.m. Activities include static helicopter display, Jupiter Jumps, medical representatives and more.
