ATV driver taken to hospital in tractor-trailer collision

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Paramedics took one person to the hospital after an ATV collided with a tractor-trailer Tuesday night near Cabin Creek.

The accident occurred at about 9 p.m. along Dry Branch Road in Cabin Creek, said Kanawha County Metro 911 dispatchers.

The driver of the ATV was transported to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries, dispatchers said. The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.

Kanawha County Sheriff's deputies are investigating.
