LAVALETTE, W.Va. -- One Wayne High School student is dead and three others were injured after a vehicle accident Friday night just outside of Wayne city limits.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Department said Kristen Stiltner, 17, was killed when a car she was in crashed into some trees along Camp Creek Road in East Lynn Friday night.
Stiltner, who was a junior at Wayne High School, is the daughter of Wayne Mayor Dwayne Stiltner.
The sheriff's department said three other people were inside the car during the crash, but deputies were unclear how badly anyone else was injured.
A candlelight vigil was held Friday night at the Wayne Town Hall.
