APPALACHIAN FESTIVAL OF YOUNG VOICES CONCERT: 7:30 p.m. Free. Festival choir composed of children from Appalachian Children's Chorus, the Roanoke College Children's Chorus and Horace Mann Middle School's Eagle Pride. Charleston Civic Center Little Theater. Call 304-343-1111.

Featuring Everett Alan Lilly, Julie Adams, Larry Groce, Bob Shank, The Carpenter Ants, Blue Million and Joe Jung, as well as tours of the Hall's traveling museum, a buffet and a sneak peak at the 2013 nominees. Concert posters signed by West Virginia musicians will be for sale. Lilly also will speak about traveling with his father, who was a 2008 Hall inductee.

VIETNAM TRAVELING MEMORIAL WALL: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Oakes Field, South Charleston. The display remains through Memorial Day.

KANAWHA TRAIL CLUB HIKE: 1:30 p.m., Putnam County Park. Carpool from Ohio and Randolph streets. Re-group at the swimming pool parking lot. The hike is approximately 3-4 miles on park trails. An optional shorter hike is available and is approximately 2 miles on a nature trail.
