Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association will hold its monthly meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at 1248 Greenbrier St.

Town of Marmet will have a dance from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the Marmet Recreation center. Tickets cost $8. The sing features Freda Cooper and the Mountain Gold Band. Malden Public Service District board of commissioners will meet at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the district office in the administrative building of the treatment facility.

Kanawha Creation Science Group will meet at 7 p.m. June 7 in South Charleston Public Library Room A to discuss creation science and evolution issues and uplift Jesus Christ as the Creator. The library is at 312 Fourth Ave., South Charleston. Check the arrow and sign in the lobby to make sure the meeting room is the same.
