I am a Christian. I believe Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. Therefore I cannot vote for Mitt Romney, who does not believe this. He is not my brother therefore I have no support for him.
To the person or persons who stole, and I mean stole, two chairs from our porch area at the Amma Senior Center in Amma above Clendenin. We are sorry you're that destitute. If you had asked us to help you, we would. We miss our chairs. Please bring them back. We work hard for everything we have.
Why do Republicans hate women? They are acting bizarre.
My dad owned a home in Ordnance Park. When he passed away I had to clean it out. There was tons of trash outside and I couldn't believe all the vultures ratting through the trash and messing it up. However, it's been beaten. My aunt died in South Hills and they're even worse than Ordnance Park. Unbelievable.
To the reader that does not approve of Bob Aaron's earring: First, I would like to critique your perfect looks and body and second, if you don't like it, change the channel!
Overlooked in the media's coverage of the Wisconsin recall election is the fact the Democrats gained control of the Wisconsin Senate, effectively ending Scott Walker's radical agenda.
According to the latest figures there were only 69,000 new jobs created in the month of May. The right-wingers say that this is proof that President Obama is a failure. The record for the G. W. Bush/Cheney administration is that $3.5 million jobs were lost from August 2009 through January 2010 when President Obama was inaugurated. The right-wing nuts were happy with the job losses resulting from the Bush policies but hate the job creation record of President Obama.
Who is Grover Norquist and why do conservatives think he's God?
Why do people think that the ability to run a business in any way qualifies you to be president? Being president is far more complicated than being a CEO.
A Vietnam draft dodger with five sons, not one of them served in the military, goes around the country talking tough and criticizing the president's foreign policy. What a joke.
Rusty, I'm sorry that Nitro's turned against you, and I hope that the first thing Mayor Casebolt will do is get rid of Jack Jordan.
This past weekend, the Pentagon had released the names of 13 more U.S. troops who had been killed in Afghanistan in the past week or so. What a waste of precious lives. It makes me sick to even think about it.
If one is an idiot for voting Democratic because their father did, then anyone who voted for George W. Bush the second time must be insane.
Torment is the name of the game when trying to purchase or have work done in West Virginia these days. Everything you purchase is either damaged or junk like we use to get from Japan. Have we not learned anything from the past?
Why is the Boulevard closed so often? Doesn't the city of Charleston have anywhere else to hold their car shows and festivals? It is a major thoroughfare for working people and it is a real inconvenience to have to detour so often. And there should be signs warning that it is closed well before you reach Clendenin Street.
My only hope [is] that it comes back to haunt the Midland South District of the United Methodist Church that was largely responsible for destroying the 100-year-old church on the West Side.
I've been watching Britain on TV and the queen. Does anybody in Britain remember the battle of the Hood, the aircraft carrier, and the [German] Bismarck where the Hood charged the Bismarck and the Bismarck fired two or three shots and sank the Hood?
Hooray for the City of Nitro. Rusty is gone. Chief Jordan is scared. Garbage bags are back. Hooray for Nitro.
