The popular West Side Wiener Dog Races will take place on the Stonewall Jackson Middle School lawn Saturday.

Special effects makeup artist RJ Haddy, who was a top finisher on the Syfy reality competition "Face Off" earlier this year, will give a demonstration on special effects and makeup artistry Saturday afternoon in Macy's Court at the Charleston Town Center mall.
