Body of missing Boone County man found in creek

RAMAGE, W.Va. -- The body of a missing man was found in a creek in rural Boone County Friday evening.  

Randy Lee Boyd, Jr., 39, of Boone County, was found at about 6:40 p.m. in a creek off Six-Mile Road near Ramage, Boone County dispatchers say. Investigators are not sure about the cause of the death.

Boyd was last seen Wednesday on Six Mile Road riding an ATV. Family members reported him missing. 

West Virginia State Police are investigating.
