The Jay Humphries Trio: will sing at 7 p.m. today at Fisher Memorial Church. The Lathey Family, Freeman Newhouse and Choir will sing. Refreshments will be served in the family center following the sing. The church is located 1/2 mile on Dudden Fork Road off Goldtown Exit of Interstate 77.

Red Oak Christian Community Church,: Red Oak Drive, Nitro, will have a song and prayer service at 7 p.m. today with the BrighterSide singing. Jamie Tolley will sing at 7 pm. on Sunday. Pastors are Victor Keathley and Roy Jarrell.
The Hoppers: will be in concert at 7 p.m. Thursday at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1401 Washington Street West. Pre-concert music will start at 6:30 p.m. with The Praisemen. Concessions will be open at 5 p.m. and will be selling barbecues. The concert is free, however, a love offering will be taken. The Annual Summersville Sings the Gospel Freedom Sing: will be held at 6 p.m. June 30 in Summersville Southern Baptist Church, Irish Street, Summersville. Veterans, active military, country and God will be honored. Veterans and active military are invited as special guests to celebrate our freedom. Singers include The Pomeroys of Richwood, Martha Bell of Summerville, Gary and Brenda Perrine of Cowen, Amy Perkins from Summersville and The Freedom Gospel Choir. The sing is presented by REACH By FAITH Ministries. Admission is free and a love offering will be received.

Vacation Bible school
Vacation Bible school: will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at Garrison Avenue Free Will Baptist Church, 597 Garrison Ave. A closing program will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Ashford Church of God Holiness: will have vacation Bible school from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday at the church. A kick-off service will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday. The theme is "Become No. 1 with Jesus." For information, call 304-245-8348, daytime or 304-836-5262, evenings.
Asbury United Methodist Church: will have vacation Bible school for children ages 5 to 10 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily, Monday through Thursday at the church, corner of Elizabeth and Jackson streets. A Family Program will be held Thursday afternoon. A YouthWorks mission team of teenagers and adults will serve as helpers for the event. Free breakfast and lunch will be served daily. Pre-registration will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the doors in front of the church or register when arriving on any day. Parents/guardians must sign the registration. Winfield Church of God Mission in Winfield: will have Bible school from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the church.
