Police seek man who robbed Beckley hotel at gunpoint

BECKLEY, W.Va. -- Police say a masked man took money at gunpoint from employees at a Raleigh County hotel Friday night.

At about 11:30 p.m., a man wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, a white bandanna across his face and black gloves pulled a gun on employees at the Comfort Inn in Beckley.

The clerk gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash before he fled, according to a news release issued by the Raleigh County Sheriff's Department. No one was injured.
