DOH to test limits on Silver Memorial Bridge
Advertiser

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The state Division of Highways said traffic may be slowed on Saturday on the Silver Memorial Bridge in Point Pleasant while DOH crews test the load limits of the bridge crossing the Ohio River on U.S. 35.

While the rolling stops used for the test will not close any lanes, traffic will be guided through the work zone and will move very slowly. DOH advised drivers to slow down and be patient during these hours.

The testing is in preparation for rehabilitation work planned for the bridge in 2013.
