SUMMERSVILLE, W.Va. -- Nicholas County authorities have arrested a man for allegedly stealing about $40,000 worth of tools and equipment from a construction site in Craigsville.

James Lewis Frame, 37, of Birch River, is accused of grand larceny after a 16-foot utility trailer full of equipment that went missing from a Subway restaurant construction site on Monday was found on his property.

The trailer belongs to Lew Dandrea Construction, a company out of Sutton.

"After an intensive investigation by the Nicholas County Sheriff's Department, Central West Virginia Drug Task Force and the West Virginia State Police, a search warrant was obtained and the stolen property was recovered," a news release states.

Frame was being held Friday at Central Regional Jail on a $75,000 bond.
