FUTURE EVENTS

Kanawha County Democratic Executive Committee has canceled its meeting scheduled for Tuesday in Judge Charlie King's courtroom in the Judicial Building because of storm-related problems. For information, call Norris Light at 304-595-1769.

Al-Anon and Alateen groups have several meetings for families and friends of alcoholics. The schedule includes: 8 p.m., Tuesdays, St. John's Episcopal Church, 1105 Quarrier St.; noon, Wednesdays, Kanawha County Day Report Center, 900 Christopher St.; 7 p.m. Thursdays, Edgewood area, St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, 819 Somerset Drive. Alateen for teens who deal with the alcoholism and/or drug addiction of a family member or friend meets at 7 p.m. Thursdays, Edgewood area, St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, 819 Somerset Drive. The Legacy Study Group meets at 7 p.m. Sundays at First Presbyterian Church, 508 Second Ave., South Charleston.
