MARTINSBURG, W.Va. -- Residents and businesses in three Eastern Panhandle counties are being asked to participate in a survey aimed at determining their broadband needs.
The survey in Berkeley, Jefferson and Morgan counties is a joint effort of the West Virginia Broadband Mapping Program and the Regional Broadband Planning Team.
Matthew Mullenax with the Region 9 Planning and Development Council says the survey's results will be used to develop a plan to address unserved and underserved areas.
Mullenax tells The Journal that planners need to know what the existing conditions are in communities.
