CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- More than a dozen accidents were reported on rain-slicked, local roads Friday morning.

A tractor-trailer jackknifed in the northbound lanes of the West Virginia Turnpike just before 9 a.m., shutting down both northbound lanes and one southbound lane near Sharon, according to a Kanawha County Metro 911 dispatcher.

The lanes were cleared for traffic by 10 a.m. and no injuries were reported from the accident, the dispatcher said.

Another accident closed both lanes of Interstate 77 near the Edens Fork Road exit in the early morning hours Friday, but that was cleared up before morning rush hour.
