Shots fired at car on West Side; no one injured

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Police are searching for a man they said fired about two bullets at a car parked in the 900 block of Central Avenue in Charleston's West Side.

Kanawha County Metro 911 dispatchers said the shooting was reported at about 2 p.m. Monday.

Charleston Police Sgt. Mike Pridemore said a man fired a couple rounds into the car before fleeing. No one was injured.

More than a dozen officers responded to the call and began collecting evidence and talking to witnesses. A description of the suspect was not available Monday night.
