CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Police arrested three Kanawha County residents who allegedly stole generators, a tanning bed, guns, electronics and other equipment from storm victims.

Kristina Renea Griggs, 34, and Dustin Jack Lycans, both of Marmet, and a juvenile family member were charged with multiple counts of breaking and entering, grand larceny and conspiracy. They were arrested July 9, according to a press release issued by the State Police.

The three targeted victims in Kanawha and Fayette counties were without power from severe thunderstorms that damaged the region, the release said.

Troopers recovered a 13,500-watt generator, a string trimmer, power tools and hand tools, a tanning bed, several flat-screen televisions, a laptop computer and several firearms.

Griggs and Lycans were arraigned in Kanawha County Magistrate Court. They remained in South Central Regional Jail Tuesday with a $50,000 bail each. State Police do not release the names or details of alleged juvenile offenders.
