Elk River Community and Education Center, 902 Main St., Elkview, will offer an Adult Beginner's Archery Class. The six-week class will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Aug. 7 through Sept. 11. The cost is $30. Putnam County Parks and Recreation Commission is hosting a photography class from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Sept. 4, 11 and 18 in the Commons of Putnam County by the Wave Pool.
