Hazelton inmate sentenced for threatening Obama

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. -- A federal inmate has been sentenced to an additional two years and six months in prison for threatening to kill President Obama.

Federal prosecutors announced Monday that 42-year-old John Streeter was sentenced recently in federal court in Clarksburg. Streeter is an inmate at the U.S. Penitentiary at Hazelton in Preston County.

Prosecutors say Streeter will serve the sentence consecutively with his current sentence of two years and four months. Prosecutors didn't give details on his original sentence.
