Two face drunken driving charges in Nicholas

SUMMERSVILLE, W.Va. -- Two Nicholas County men were arrested Tuesday after allegedly being caught drunken driving.

Edward Allan Odell, 40, of Mount Nebo was pulled over on Old Nicholas Road on Tuesday and charged with driving under the influence third offense and driving on a license revoked for DUI, according to Nicholas County Sheriff Wetzel Bennett.

Later, David Alan Cunningham Jr., of Alderson Avenue in Summersville, allegedly led deputies on a chase to his mother's house in Fenwick, Bennett said. Cunningham was charged with felony fleeing and fleeing while driving under the influence.

Both men were taken to the Central Regional Jail, where Odell was being held without bond Wednesday. Cunningham was still awaiting arraignment.
