WELCH, W.Va. -- A final workshop will be held Saturday for a documentary project revolving around the day-today lives of McDowell County residents.

Production members with "Hollow: An Interactive Documentary" will hold a community storytelling workshop at Mount View High School in Welch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to a news release.

Residents are asked to bring photos and videos they'd like to submit to the project.

The production has been filming throughout the county since early summer and held two workshops in June and July. The workshop will include storytelling exercises, video training and a screening of early screenings of the film.

"A lot of the stories that came out of our second workshop held questions about the future of the community that we hope we can wrestle with when we come together again," said Michelle Miller, workshop coordinator. "Our greatest hope is that this third and final workshop is actually just a launching point for the community to continue working and sharing together."
