87 Bar, 712 Evans Road, Leon, will sponsor a motorcycle poker run Aug. 18 with proceeds to benefit a scholarship beginning with registration 9 a.m. at the bar. The first bike is scheduled out at 10 a.m. This year's scholarship recipient is Ashley Ohlinger, 19, beginning her second semester in elementary education at Marshall University. Central West Virginia Regional Airport Authority board will have its regular meeting at 4 p.m. Aug. 22 in the Public Use Conference Room of the Airport Director's Office, Yeager Airport.

Roane General Hospital will sponsor the Spencer-Roane Heart Walk at 9 a.m. Aug. 25 at the hospital. Registration begins at 8 a.m. For more information, contact Roane General Hospital's Fitness Complex at 304-927-1640.

Kanawha County Public Library will sponsor a Board Game Revolution for tweens, teens and adults at several libraries. Lifelong gamer and librarian John Adkins will speak about board games, and a variety of new games will be presented with instructors on hand. Participating libraries include: Cross Lanes Branch Library, 4 p.m., Aug. 29; Main Library, 1 p.m., Sept. 15; Clendenin Branch Library, 6 p.m., Sept. 18; Dunbar Branch Library, 4 p.m., Sept. 20; Riverside Public Library, 3 p.m., Sept. 24; St. Albans Branch Library, 3 p.m., Sept. 26; Nitro Public Library, 3 p.m., Oct. 18; Sissonville Branch Library, 6 p.m., Nov. 26; and Elk Valley Branch Library, 6 p.m., Nov. 27.
