State to hold meetings on state energy plan

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The West Virginia Division of Energy is holding three public meetings to discuss recommendations to help meet the state meet future energy needs.

Officials say the meetings will help guide discussions on increased energy efficiency and expanded energy production through traditional fossil fuels and renewable energy.

The public meetings will be held in Huntington on Sept. 5, in Morgantown on Sept. 6, and in Martinsburg on Sept. 7.
