Gwinn family: 10:30 a.m., Sept. 2, Lockbridge grounds, approximately 2 1/2 miles on Lockbridge Road off W.Va. 20 near Meadow Bridge. The Lockbridge United Methodist Church Choir will sing. Pastor Roger Booth will give the sermon followed by the memorials at 11:50 a.m. Lunch will be served from noon to 1 p.m. The afternoon program will feature the Half Bad Bluegrass Band from 1 to 3:30 p.m. A presentation of awards and wrap-up will take place from 3:30 to 4 p.m. Bring a picnic lunch to share or purchase food items from the concession stand, sponsored by Lockbridge United Methodist Church. Descendents and friends are invited to the 61st annual reunion.

Drake family: 11 a.m., Sept. 2, Shephard 4-H Center, U.S. 119, near Gandeeville, Roane County. Bring a covered dish to share and a listing of family members to be added to the Drake History in progress. Descendents of Charles Frederick Drake Jr. are invited.

Burdette/Taylor families: Sept. 8, Coonskin Park, Gorman Shelter, same as last year. The shelter is located at the top of the hill on the left. Bring a picnic basket and nonalcoholic drinks. Contact John and JoAnn Taylor at 304-965-5805 or Dorcas Burdette at 304-965-1032.

Diamond Department Store: 1 to 5 p.m., Sept. 9, Rand Community Center, Church Drive, Rand. Bring a covered dish. Contact: Randy Proctor at 304-925-7401.

Stonewall Jackson High School class of 1949: 63rd annual reunion, 7 p.m. daily, Sept. 14 and 15, Little Creek Golf Course, South Charleston. The mid-year graduating class is also invited. Contact: Barbaralu Fischer at 304-776-9336.

Chandler Drive: Noon, Sept. 22, Dunbar Community Center, Fairlawn Avenue and 26th Street, Dunbar. Bring a covered dish and dessert. Contact Alkie Slater at 304-776-1891.
