ST. ALBANS, W.Va. -- Three men were arrested in St. Albans early Thursday after allegedly breaking into a car.

Capt. James Agee of the St. Albans Police Department said a man on Ridgewood Forest Road called police at about 5 a.m. after allegedly seeing men in his car. The men fled in another vehicle, but were caught by Sgt. P.C. Smith a short time later, Agee said.

Cody A. Hudson, 18, from East Bank; Dylan R. Paxton, 18, of St. Albans and Christopher M. Lake, 18, of St. Albans were all arrested and charged with auto tampering, Agee said. Hudson was also charged with driving without a license.

All three teens were in the South Central Regional Jail on Thursday, with bail for each set at $2,500.

Agee said it was the second time in a week that cars had been tampered with on Ridgewood Forest Road.
