DANIELS, W.Va. -- The National Association of State Land Reclamationists will hold its annual conference at the Glade Springs Resort in Daniels.

The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection says the conference is set for Sept. 30 through Oct. 3.

The organization has about 1,000 members in 38 states. The WVDEP says the organization is a nationally recognized authority on the reclamation of mined lands. It advocates the use of research, innovative technology and professional discourse to promote the restoration of land and water affected by mining-related activities.
