Detroit man faces W.Va. drug charges
NITRO, W.Va. -- A Detroit man is in jail after authorities allegedly found several kinds of illegal drugs hidden in his Nitro motel room.
Nitro police and members of the Metro Drug Unit went to a room at the Economy Inn in Nitro at about 2 p.m. Monday to conduct a "knock and talk" with the occupant, according to Nitro Police Department Patrolman Ray Blake. Officers then got a search warrant for the room.
Officers found Oxycodone, heroin and crack cocaine hidden in the room, including in the ceiling, Blake said.
Charles Edward Chisolm, 20, of Detroit, was arrested and charged with possession of Oxycodone, heroin and crack cocaine with intent to deliver. He was being held Tuesday in the Western Regional Jail, with bail set at $75,000.
