CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The northbound lane of Interstate 77/64 is completely blocked by a tractor-trailer that overturned about three miles north of the Paint Creek exit just after 5 p.m., according to the Turnpike State Police.

State police officials said at about 5:40 p.m. there were no injuries and expect to clear the northbound lane within the next hour.

Earlier Tuesday, a FedEx truck, traveling northbound near Cabin Creek at 1:30 p.m., hit standing water, jackknifed and overturned, according to Kanawha County Metro 911 dispatchers.

Slick roads from Monday and Tuesday's rains caused other highway accidents in the area Tuesday.
