n To the person who said they was going to vote for Obama because he has kept them safe, tell that to the four people who just got killed at the embassy in [Libya]. He's too concerned about going out and campaigning and fundraising to do his job.
Hey, has anyone figured out Friends of Coal does not have the word miners at the end?
If Mitt Romney wins -- $2 billion in new tax cuts will be given to multi-billionaire Sheldon Adelson, who has pledged to give $100 million to Romney's campaign. If Barack Obama wins, millionaires and billionaires pay their fair share.
I just saw that video where that woman wouldn't comply with a police officer and she got drug out of her car and they want an apology. They ought to call the White House. Obama will apologize to anybody anywhere for anything.
Now it's being said that the American taxpayers may have to bail out the continent of Europe. That is unfair because we American taxpayers need the money to get America back on track.
To the reader who asked where to get the new Duncan Hines icing with the flavoring packets: Kroger in Elkview has them.
To all those who come to churches asking for money, you need to realize that we are struggling also, no matter the size of the church. Some churches have money for cut-off notices for utilities, but not all.

Tomblin will lose because true Democrats are not going to vote for the DINOs this time because he is no different than a Republican. We will make the difference in the governor's election.
Fox News has correctly identified that President Obama and his Middle East policy is responsible for the attack on the embassy in Libya. Can you imagine how they would roast Ronald Reagan for the attack on the Marine barracks in Lebanon in 1982. Maybe if Reagan hadn't turned tail and withdrawn the U.S. military from Lebanon, we would have stopped this insanity years ago.
The federal tax rates should be sharply raised to balance the budget. People need to know the real cost of all of the government we have. We will then see how much of it is important to them.
I just don't understand all of the negative comments Republicans make about people who receive assistance from the government in a variety of ways. They make it sound like that only happened while Obama was president. What about when Bush was president? We didn't hear anything about it then! . . . Hypocrites!
I used to think that I was part of the "middle class." Now that Mitt has defined the middle class as those making $250,000, I guess I am just a lowly poor person. I'm glad he could clear that up for me.

The Republican presidential nominee might be a nice fellow, but we cannot afford to have a president who has to hastily arrange press conferences on Monday to control damages related to comments he made on Friday. Romney believes those receiving Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, veterans' benefits, unemployed, welfare and food stamps to be worthless. He has made a fortune closing factories and taking away the livelihood of workers. No one in the working class should support him. If the Gazette is so concerned about anonymous comments, why do you still permit anonymous entries to Readers' Voice? Romney was secretly caught telling his millionaire donors that 47 percent of Americans think they are victims, and his job is to ignore them. Well, my job in November is to 100-percent vote against Romney. Mitt Romney says the average income in the middle class is $200,000 to $250,000 a year. Is this guy out of touch or what? I just saw a news clip on TV where a group of adults were having a meeting to discuss strategies for teaching kids healthier eating habits. Almost every adult in the news clip was noticeably overweight, some even obese. . . . They should lead by example. Kids notice. Mine do! Members of Congress should have to wear uniforms, you know, like NASCAR drivers, so we could identify their corporate sponsors. The reason politicians try so hard to get re-elected is that they would "hate" to have to make a living under the laws they've passed! Go ahead, West Virginia, vote for Romney, and if he should happen to win we will be at war or attacked within months or weeks. But don't worry. It won't be his sons who go to fight. It will be ours. I'm 75 and can no longer drive or have a driver's license. Where can I get a photo ID before Election Day? I am terrified by these new voting ID laws. An article in the Gazette stated that the Affordable Healthcare Act (Obamacare) is good for West Virginia women. Just don't thank Ms. Capito for that. She voted against it. As a registered Democrat since the days of George W. "Choked On A Pretzel" Bush, I watch the current crop of political ads and when a candidate says "Obama's war on coal" or "do away with Obamacare," I know at that moment they will not get my vote. After witnessing the DOH attempting to pave an entire stretch of road with a small dump truck, an antique road grader, and a 3-foot-wide roller because Sen. Manchin sold their good equipment when he was governor and it [was never] replaced, there is no way I could bring myself to vote for either him or Gov. Tomblin, because both have displayed a lack of good judgment and intelligence. I would appreciate it if the person that has the gray and white cat on Monroe in St. Albans would buy a litter box so the poor cat won't be using my flower bed and stinking the place up. Thank you.
