Coal River Model Railroad Club: will sponsor the Chapmanville Model Train Show from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Chapmanville Community Center (the former Chapmanville High School). Special Olympics Kanawha County: will have bingo from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Hansford Center, St. Albans. The cost is $20 per package at 20 games per package. The cost for nine cards per game is $1 each. Hot dogs and drinks will also be for sale.

Kanawha County Public Library Board of Directors Building Committee system: will meet at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday in the Board Room of the Main Library, 123 Capitol St. Proposals and presentations made by the three building consultants that were interviewed by members of the Building and Coordinating committees Aug. 30 will be discussed and a recommendation on which firm to select will be made to the board. South Charleston Chamber of Commerce: will have its next Business After Hours from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Kanawha Valley Community and Technical College, in the West Virginia Regional Technology Park.
